This weekend me and Donna travelled up to Stord to participate in a Working Dog course. I just want her to learn to work with her nose and embrace her natural talent as a terrier. She exceeded mye expectations as well as the course instructor. He was quite surprised about just how good she was at the job. She even outperformed the Labradoors at the search part. Not so much when it came to interacting with the human helpers that was hiding in the woods. She was a bit reserved towards them so she didn't get to return to me with the reward. It will be interesting to see how she handles this as an adult. I think she will handle it quite well when - and if - the times come. This weekend we were a good ambassador for the Manchester Terrier. I meet Kine with her Shar Pei Rosin. Such a funny breed that is. And I love their geninuely soft lips. Donna didn't quite know what to think about this funny looking dog - but she warmed up outside when they got to run and play together. Kine helping to h

Dogs are welcome inside of Bauhaus, so ofcourse I had to try it out with Donna. We looked at the tools and the plants. She was very curios about it all. Mummy had ofcourse hidden treats in the shelfs and on the floor so that she could activate her nose and work a little bit. And of couse people stopped and asked me about Donna. Another day as a Manchester Terrier Ambassador.

Today was my and Donnas first visit to Grete and Ole Jan Bertelsen at Renn Chester Kennel. They were one of the very first breeders to get a Manchester back in the early 90's. Such a cute sign they have on the corner of their house! I am a bit envious of that one. We was greeted by the 14 year old Renn Chester Misty. She is a Nordic Champion and such a nice dog. Her sire is Eaglespur Mandolin and her mother is Renn Chester Henna. So she is born and bred at Renn Chester here at Rennesøy. Donna loved the sun that they have in their back yard.

Today my daughter features as an extra in the series of Lykkeland who is recorderd in Stavanger. It is to be released in 2025, so the there is a long waiting time before we can see in on the television. Ofcourse Donna had to be with us on the set. She is just a little puppy and cannot be left alone at home for hours. Donna was the best of ambassadors for the Manchester Terrier. Everyone just loved her. It was also fun foe me to see behind the scenes of such a big production. And of course we were all a bit star struck then Pia Tjelta arrived.

This is Donnas first week in Stavanger. She comes from Kirsti and Eiriks X-Pected Dine Mites Kennel in Oslo. She has adjusted well and she and my collie Kimba are already best friends. I just love how she in one minutes can be deep asleep and then its parkour the next. And can I say I just love that she cuddeles like a cat. I think this is my best decition in years. I have also just started to buy cute little dog clothes. So much fun. Finally I dog I can bliiiiing a bit. I mean collies just needs a harness, that's it. Kind of boring. Shopping cure dog clothes is so much fun! I am so looking forward to our journey forward, I have so many plans for us.
